"I am sitting here inside the window and as I gaze out at a dull and overcast day, I see the local people go by, everyone on a mission all of their own. It makes me feel good that I have lived to have come to the end of all that now, and I have found a freedom in myself and in the world all around me."

These are the words of my dear father, a man who lived  "A Life of Simplicity" on the blessed earth without complication.

I have learned on my journey the greatest good happens in stillness. The quiet ones among us are the gentle giants making this world a better place.

This is the first day.
